The following is a list of the lessons currently available for E6_4.

The Fellowship of the Father

Produced by The Homeschool Advantage Productions

Skill levels available for this lesson: Beginner, Apprentice, and Master

In the account of creation, God gives us clear instructions concerning what he designed man to do: be fruitful, increase in number, fill the earth, subdue it, and rule over it. Known by many as "The Dominion Mandate," this is what Christ meant when he told us to pray, "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." It is very sad that so few American Christian men ever fulfill their life purpose, and become mature elders who govern well in their households, their churches, and their communities. This lesson is designed to help men understand the 6 important endeavors that lead to becoming a godly elder:

#1 Father-directed Weekly Corporate Worship
#2 Father-directed Hospitality to the Saints
#3 Father-directed Daily Family Worship
#4 Father-directed Family Enterprise
#5 Father-directed Family Education
#6 Father-directed Biblical Betrothal

This lesson is particularly well suited for use in family worship or corporate Bible study.

Mr. Safeguard

Produced by The Homeschool Advantage Productions

Skill levels available for this lesson: Beginner, Apprentice, and Master

Is it a bad thing to shelter children? This lesson features a short film which calls into question the common "wisdom" of early 21st century America that sends young children into the path of physical, moral, and spiritual danger. The theme song of this film is titled "Jesus Loves the Children," written by Jonathan Lindvall and adapted to the movie by Captain Bret, and is one of the most powerful songs ever written to encourage fathers to protect their children. The final question set of the Master skill level features a challenging alliteration puzzle that will tease the minds of the brightest students.

The Amazing Journey of Pastor Ron

Produced by The Homeschool Advantage Productions
2009

Skill levels available for this lesson: Beginner, Apprentice, and Master

This lesson explores the life of a remarkable man whose greatness stemmed not from his superior intellect, nor his abundant talents, nor his incredible skills. Rather, he was great because he faithfully lived his life according to the truths he discovered in the Word of God. The journey he began is multigenerational in scope, and his influence grows stronger every year. At the time of the production of this film, which was less than 10 years after his death, the dynasty of Pastor Ron numbered 10 present and future Smith families. If God chooses to continue this bountiful blessing upon his family, then 50 years after his death his dynasty will number over 300 Smith families faithfully serving God!

This film is the most important work ever produced by The Homeschool Advantage Productions. The primary purpose for creating the film was to show the members of the Smith family the tremendous privilege and the awesome responsibility of belonging to a multigenerational dynasty which parallels that of Terah, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But it is also a powerful encouragement to other men to turn their hearts to their children, embrace the covenant God desires to confirm with them, and establish their own dynasty of godly families who will build Christ's kingdom here on earth.

The Value of Becoming a Godly Elder

Produced by The Homeschool Advantage Productions
2006

Skill levels available for this lesson: Beginner, Apprentice, and Master

Now the overseer must be above reproach, the husband of but one wife, self-controlled, respectable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him with proper respect. (If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God's church?) 1 Timothy 3:2-5 (NIV)

It's hard work building the kind of household that enables a man to meet the qualifications of an elder. Is it worth it? At the 2006 "God's Plan for a Righteous Man" campmeeting, Captain Bret shared some of the exciting rewards of becoming a Godly Elder.

Revival in the Land

The 10 Steps of a Biblical Betrothal and Marriage

Produced by The Homeschool Advantage Productions
2006

Skill levels available for this lesson: Beginner, Apprentice, and Master

Anyone who has read the Bible thoroughly knows that betrothal is a topic dealt with throughout the book. And yet the overwhelming majority of modern American churches teach nothing about this Biblical process. Most American Christians follow the worldly practice of dating to acquire a spouse, which leads to emotional damage, emotional and physical promiscuity, disease, and quite often divorce. But in the early part of the 21st century, a large number of men from Georgia began studying what the Bible has to say about how to acquire a spouse, and began discussing and praying about how to follow these time honored practices.

The unexpected result was that they came to understand that the purpose of all of creation was this: God the Father was seeking a bride for his Son. Repeatedly, the Bible shows that God created betrothal and marriage to reveal to us the great mystery of the relationship between Christ and his Church. The climax of human history will be the Wedding of the Lamb, when the betrothal period is complete, and the Bride of Christ is united with her Bridegroom. When we follow the practices described in the Bible concerning betrothal and marriage, we gain the understanding that God intended for us to grasp, and experience a new level in our relationship with Christ that can be achieved in no other way.

An Epistemologically Self-Conscious Wedding

Produced by The Homeschool Advantage Productions

Skill levels available for this lesson: Beginner, Apprentice, and Master

Epistemology is the branch of philosophy that studies the nature of knowledge, its presuppositions and foundations, and its extent and validity. Everything we think we "know" is based on presuppositions -- assumptions that cannot be proven empircally, but must be accepted by faith. These presuppositions affect how we think, act, and respond to our environment; they govern the decisions we make about what is important and how things should be done; in a word, they form the foundation of our cultue. The culture of the United States in the early 21st century is founded upon humanism and its blind faith in the absurd theory of evolution. American Christians who have been taught from childhood this unbiblical worldview find it difficult to break away from conformity to the pattern of this world.

This lesson follows the wedding of Mike & Kressant Morton, which was carefully designed to follow the pattern of betrothal and marriage described in the Bible. It will help students learn how to analyze the assumptions which form their opinions, and transform them by the renewing of their minds.

The Missing Ingredient

Skill levels available for this lesson: Beginner, Apprentice, and Master

For waging war you need guidance, and for victory many advisers. Wisdom is too high for a fool; in the assembly at the gate he has nothing to say. Proverbs 24:6-7 (NIV)

Christian filmmakers are waging war today against the ungodly culture of Holywood. More often than not, however, they are not achieving victory. Christian producers may spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on films that fail to have a lasting impact, because they have left out a vital ingredient in the moviemaking process.

At the 2006 Georgia Christian Film Festival, Captain Bret delivered this message that every Christian filmmaker needs to hear.

The moon is moving away from the earth at the rate of roughly one inch per year. If the earth is billions of years old, how can the moon possibly be in it's present orbit? These and other fascinating facts are explored by Dr. Kent Hovind in this second lesson dealing with "The Age of the Earth."

If you were planning a vacation trip to Disneyland in California, the first thing you would do would be to consult a map. The map provides much more than simply directions; it helps you decide how much to budget for hotel stays and meals along the way, how much fuel you will need, when you can expect to arrive -- in short, it helps you manage the resources you to need to successfully arrive at your destination at the time you need to be there.

In this session, campaign consultant Mark Montini explains that a good campaign strategy is also primarily a resource management tool. It helps you take the time, talent, and funds at your disposal, and map out a "path to victory" for election day.

Changing the Culture by Winning Campaigns Part 2

Wisdom’s Gate—Being Salt and Light Families

Produced by The Homeschool Advantage Productions

No question sets have been created yet for this instructional video.

Parents who do not want to “bring them (their children) up in the training and instruction of the Lord” often justify their decision by accusing homeschooling parents of dereliction of duty to the Great Commission, since they don’t send their young, vulnerable children into the pagan, government schools to be “missionaries.”  In this session, Israel Wayne debunks this fallacy by showing that when parents diligently teach their children in accordance with their Life Mission, there will come a time during the appropriate Season of Life when their family will be able to appropriate the covenant promise to be a blessing to all nations.

Wisdom’s Gate—The Biblical Foundation for Parental Rights

Produced by The Homeschool Advantage Productions

No question sets have been created yet for this instructional video.

What is the origin of human rights? This question is vital to the future of education; and the future of education determines the future of a nation. In this lesson, Israel Wayne explores what the Bible has to say about rights, responsibilities, and jurisdictions, as they pertain to education.

Wisdom’s Gate—What About Socialization

Produced by The Homeschool Advantage Productions
2010

No question sets have been created yet for this instructional video.

The universal question people who were educated in government schools pose to homeschoolers is this: What about socialization? In this lesson, Israel Wayne of Wisdom's Gate Publishing agrees that this a very important question, but not for the reason most people think! Where did the idea originate that children should be segregated by age into herds like sheep? And who is it that ultimately gains from being able to control and fleece the sheep? Starting with Plato and moving all the way to modern American programs like Outcome Based Education, Israel shows how dangerous it is for parents to allow the government to socialize their children.

The Alphabet with Jacqueline Smith

Produced by The Homeschool Advantage Productions
2010

There are two skill levels available for this lesson.  Student should do the Beginner level first, and then move to the Apprentice level.

In this lesson, Jacqueline Smith teaches the alphabet along with the hard consonant sounds and the short vowel sounds.  The question sets allow the student to practice selecting the correct letters that go with the sounds and with pictures he learns to associate with the letters.
